To talk about time is a passion of mine.
I’ll like to share.
Do you have the time?
This may be long, so hang -on.
I promise you an adventure you’ll never forget,
It will be time well spent; you wouldn’t regret.

The Beginning of Time

In the beginning, God Created the heaven and the Earth. God said, let there be light, and light appeared. God separated the light from the darkness. He called the light Day and the darkness he called Night.
The eternal God then declared by a Unanimous decision, “The evening and the morning were the first Day.” Thus, God established time.
How long was this day? We don’t know. However, scientist has suggested it could have been one thousand years– for the Bible says, “…one day is with the Lord as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.”
Furthermore, on the fourth day of creation, God made two great lights—the greater light to rule by day (Sun), and the lesser light to rule by night (Moon).
Jesus said, “…work while it’s day, for the night cometh when no man can work.” John 9:4.
If you’re not already at work, (doing what the master assigned)–you’re late.

The Past- Present and Future

We should learn from our past. But sadly, we make the same stupid mistakes over and over again. “That men do not learn very much from the lessons of history are the most important lesson of history.” (Aldous Huxley).

Winston Churchill said, “Forgetting our history we are doomed to repeat it.”
Furthermore, it is said, insanity is doing the same thing, yet expecting different results
So many are trapped by their past—living in the shadows of what was.
Jesus came to set the captive free.
Forgiveness is the master key, which unlocks the gates of our past and opens a highway to the future.
When teaching his disciples to pray, Jesus instructed them to say “…Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. …… For if we do not forgive others neither will our heavenly father forgive us.” Matthew 6:14,15.

We must learn to forgive and be forgiven.

We cannot go back in time to undo what has been done. Whatever happened, we must confess our sins, forgive ourselves, get over it and move on. If repentance involves restitution, then face the consequences. “The only way to “Face the music is to face the music.” (Remember the “rapper” G-dep).

Stop the pretense, you can hide from others, but you cannot escape your conscience. That uneasy, miserable feeling you ‘ve been wrestling with—it’s called guilt, and it will not go-away until you confess. To procrastinate only delays the inevitable.

By all means, put the past behind you, and never let your past, suffocate your present and hinder you from a bright and successful future
No! It’s never too late to begin again. So, get up, wash up, dress up, pull your pants up and stand up and step out, take a deep breath and smile again. Yes, “Take those broken wings and learn to fly again.”

Make changes where you must, but by the grace of God, go, grow and glow.
It’s one thing to get out of Egypt, but it’s another thing to get Egypt out. In other words, stop living in the past. We cannot go forward while looking backward. Egypt may have had some good times, but that was then, this is now.
Yesterday is past, and we may never see tomorrow. For, all we will ever have is now. ‘’Today is God’s gift to us, what you do with it is our gift to Him.’’ Since this is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
There is no time like the present.

The Use of Time

You are either: Spending time–wisely
Wasting time–foolishly
Doing time–regrettably
Redeeming time–spiritually

Wisely: Since you’ve got time–use it wisely: for when it’s gone, it’s gone. “You cannot save time in a bottle.” (Jim Croce 1973).
Right now, you are in fact spending time wisely, reading this article.
The greatest expression of love is time. Therefore, invest time in relationships with family and friends; create lasting memories.
Be on time: To church, to work, to school, or for whatever the appointment. Punctuality is a virtuous achievement.
Now is the time to serve the Lord. The Bible says,’ “seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call upon him while he is near.” Isaiah 55:6.
Quiet Time with God, should be our number one priority. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you. (Matthew 6:33).
Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10.
Don’t waste your time, my time or anyone else’s. “If you must waste time do it on your own time.” (That’s what the boss said at orientation, for my first job.)
Don’t just stand there–do something.
Don’t Sweat the small stuff
“Don’t cry over spilled milk.”

Regrettably: “Bad Boys, Bad girls,” what you “gonna” do when they come for you.”
If you did the crime, then by law you may do time, 5 to 10, 10 to 15 or 20 to life.
When you could have been at Penn. State, you must now tenure at the State Penn. But, while you’re there, take the time to think about your. (a)Past:  what happened, why it happened ? and how could you avoid it recurring.
b. Present: What are you going to do for the duration of your time.
c. Future. Where do you go from here?

Spiritually. “See then that you walk circumspectly not as fools, but as wise. Redeeming the times because the days are evil. Wherefore be you not unwise but understanding what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians 5:15-17.
Also in Colossians 4:5 the Bible says Walk in wisdom, towards them that are without redeeming the time.
The two verses above are telling us that we must take advantage of every opportunity we have, to do the will of Our father. For, “Only what we do for Christ will last. “

A Time for Everything. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Time is measured in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months. and years.

To every- thing there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away.
A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8).

You cannot afford to get stuck in time; seasons come and seasons go. It would be foolish to be walking around with shorts during winter when it’s 5 degrees outside, or be found wearing a mink coat on a ninety-degree summer day,
While change isn’t always comfortable, it’s necessary. The Apostle Paul wrote, “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man I put away childish things.” 1 Corinthians 13:11

The Days’ of our Lives
The days of our years are threescore and ten, and by reason of strength they can be fourscore years. So teach us to number our days that we apply our hearts unto wisdom.” (Psalm 90:10,12.)

It’s About Time
Quit the procrastination. Time waits for no one. All we will ever have is now–today. Time is moving with swift transition. We must keep up with time or be l]left behind. When it’s time – it’s time.
It’s about time you:
Put of sin and darkness and walk in the light.
Make up your mind.
Get a Job.
Get an apartment,
Settle down and get married.
It’s about time you pass that test and graduate.
Quit acting the fool and get serious about life.
It’s about time you pay that bill.
Make that call.
Finish that job you started.
You get a Phone, and a Car.
It’s about time you get a life.

What Time Is It?
The children of Issachar which were men that had understanding of the times to know what Israel ought to do. (1 Chronicles 12:32). Too many live their lives aimlessly and without purpose. If you don’t know the time you can easily miss your appointment or your season.

The End of Time.

Tell us , …what shall be the sign of thy coming and of the end of the world? Matthew 24: 2-41.

Watch therefore for you know not what hour the Lord will come. Therefore be ye also ready for in such an hour as ye think not the son of man cometh. Verse42,43.

Furthermore, it’s appointed unto man once to die but after death the judgment. .No one gets to bargain or negotiates with death.
Are you ready?

I am a Pastor / Teacher/ Mentor/ Builder, and I love to write. Now," Who is there left among you that have seen this house in her first glory? And how do you see it now?".... Haggai 2:3. This passage of scripture expresses the challenge that I have undertaken to restore faith in our God, who cannot lie. Whatever he said, he will surely do. It must come to pass. God promised Abraham, and was willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, so, he confirmed it by an oath. God swore by himself saying: In blessings, I will bless thee and multiplying I will multiply thee. Hebrews 6:13-18.
